Hello, I’m Saniyah Thompson, proud founder of Dulce Candles. At 17 I started this journey during the COVID-19 pandemic, finding comfort in the soothing ambience of candles while navigating online school. As a Black and Puerto Rican entrepreneur, I wanted to create a unique, minority- owned business that reflects my passion.

Through dedicated research and creativity, I launched our signature, dessert inspired candles, all made with Soy wax. The initial success and the support of my family including my mom and grandma, helped us grow from local pop-ups to thriving in malls. Today Dulce Candles is a family affair where every candles crafted with love and cultural pride.
